El Centro Artistic Skating Team
Take your skating to the next level with our competitive team! We’re proud to be chartered with both major roller skating governing bodies:
- USARS (USA Roller Sports)
- AARS (American Roller Sports)
Our competitive season runs September through August, offering opportunities to participate in local, national, and world-level competitions. Through AARS’s affiliation with the Roller Skating Association (RSA), our skaters also participate in the prestigious Achievement Test Program, which guides our advanced instruction in Dance, Figures, and Freestyle.
Beyond competitions, our team:
- Performs in our annual Holiday Show and Spring Showcase
- Participates in demonstrations and exhibitions
- Engages in community events to promote artistic skating
Most importantly, we’re a family. Our team culture emphasizes mutual support, encouragement, and sportsmanship. We believe the greatest reward in competitive skating comes from the lifelong friendships formed while pursuing excellence together.

ATTENTION: Important announcement about the upcoming Showcase Event Hello Skaters, Due to an unexpected scheduling shift, we’ve made a small adjustment to our show date. Our much-anticipated performance will now take place on June 10th, 2025, with practices scheduled for June 3rd and 5th. Everything else—show format, times, and all the exciting details—remains the same!

Achievement Testing: Striving to be Your Best!
El Centro Artistic Skating Team now sponsors a Judges Panel, led by Kaydee Mounce, to support RSA Achievement Testing. This initiative offers skaters the chance to improve skills, earn recognition, and celebrate skating excellence through seasonal Test Centers. Congratulations to all eight skaters who passed their tests on April 24th! Let’s keep rolling forward!
